Well, it is true that there is always an advantage and disadvantage, but in this case , the advantages tends to be more than it disadvantages, the possible disadvantages is the untraceable transaction made i.e , once a wrong transaction in been made, it can't be recovered or traceable. The other disadvantage can be it volatility recording a lost for people who doesn't know much about the crypto market

The disadvantage in investing in bitcoin is same when you invest in any other crypto curency,as it is volatile and can fluctuate anytime.The prices is not centrally controlled and you can go into huge loss if you invest in small quantity.Though very expensive but it is good to put in huge investment now the value has gone up,inorder to have a secure investment and returns.
I don't see any disadvantage in investing in bitcoin unless you are investing for short term. Imagine you bought bitcoin when the price was $50, now the price is about $37K. If you had invested for short term, you would be making a lot of loss.
