Cryptocurrency investment is for anybody as far as you have the required skills and knowledge to invest in it. Students can also invest in it if they know what they are doing. This is because cryptocurrency investments is highly volatile and you can lose all your investments within a very short time also it is very very risky. Crypto currencies doesn't need to be taught in school curriculum, you can easily learn it at your confort time. Crypto currency has helped a lot of students pay off students loan, finance there house rent and utility bills.

I've noticed that there are actually many online courses and even university that are teaching students about bitcoin cryptocurrency and blockchain technology as a whole.
