Instead of investing in one single stock, it is better to create a diverse portfolio and invest in different stocks. In this way one can reduce the risk of loss.

As far as I know Buffet gives preference to the stocks of Apple so if I were to choose I would also invest in Apple. Especially taking into consideration that the new line-up of products is coming this year. Btw, here is some sound piece of advice on investing in the blog by BeatMarket. Highly recommend you read it when have free time.

Well, this depends a lot on your level of risk and preferences, really look for a sector that you think has potential for future development and you can select the companies in this specific sector that you think can do better than the competition, that have financial healthy and good partnerships with other companies as well.
