It's nice they could trust you enough to even pay you upfront. Honestly, i do not think i can ever pay someone upfront when carrying out business transactions, this is because i find it hard to trust people.

Well, when you have some level of integrity people will easily trust you. I have done some businesses with them in the past and that actually made them to trust me with your others. That is why I try to maintain a very good reputation on the internet.
I believe I'm someone that people can trust easily but i don't know why i find it so difficult to trust others. I'm working on my trust issues because i know that there would come a point where i just have to trust someone completely when carrying out business transactions.

I don't think online is a suitable to find a partner you can that you need. Though some people have through Facebook page hire experience peoples. A business partner most be someone that you can trust any day and anytime.
I'm also the kind of person that do not trust people totally. But when it comes to business you need to trust people to an extent and if possible sign some paper works. Signing paper works will boost your confidence and trust for business partners or employees a the case may be.
