I think the best name for a business comes from the niche of your business. The best name is also a unique name that has not been extensively used before. The best name is also short, sweet, and easy to remember. However, you must remember naming your business is very different from naming your products.

I highly agree with you. It is very important that from the name of your business people are able to relate to or deduce what you are doing in your business and what good or service is required or being provided by you. In doing so it is much easier to attract customers based on your name rather than having to rely on lengthy descriptions that may follow your business name.

The process of choosing the perfect business name that is both catchy and communicates what your business is about is by no means easy. Businesses have failed in the past largely due to a name that just didn’t work, so it’s important to get this right.
Choosing a good business name is very important if it’s going to be successful and it’s key to differentiating you from your competitors. Customers associate a business name with the value it provides to them.

Brand name should be relatable to your business, I mean people should hear or see the name and be able to guess a bit of what the business is all about. Keep it simple and short as well, no need of bogus meanings and should be easy to spell as well.

Determining a name for your business could be so tasking sometimes, in the sense that you first need to be sure if the name has not be in existence with another person's business so as to avoid using someone else's name. The name to be created must be very simple and easy to understand in connection to the type of business you do.

There are a lot of steps to follow when it comes to starting a business, and each one is important for specific reasons. Choosing a business name will probably be one of the harder tasks. This is because your business name is not just a name, it is a brand, a concept that becomes associated with you and your products or services.

Avoid hard-to-spell names. ...
Don't pick a name that could be limiting as your business grows. ...
Conduct a thorough Internet search. ...
Get the .com domain name. ...
Use a name that conveys some meaning. ...
Conduct a trademark search.

What's in a name? A lot, when it comes to small-business success. The right name can make your company the talk of the town. The wrong one can doom it to obscurity and failure. Ideally, your name should convey the expertise, value and uniqueness of the product or service you have developed.

Choosing a brand name may be very difficult task to do because majority of the names you can think of have been taken or used by another companies. The best way is jsuy to use some acronyms of your names or you find a funky names to use. And u start building on it.
yeah.. That acronyms is a Real and good suggestion cause have seen so many successful business men and women with acronyms idea to form there business /companies names and it sounds nice and creative and also.

When naming a business, here is the thought process that I used:
  • Maximum of 2 Syllables - Once you get to 3 syllables, the name becomes too hard to say or remember. Most Fortune 500 consumer based companies (and even the B2B ones) are 1 or 2 syllables. Customers have better views of companies with impressive names.
  • Easy to Remember - Your customer needs to be able to see the name once at a glance and still be able to remember it
  • Easy to Say / Pronounce - Don't pick a name that can have a multitude of pronunciations. Silent letters are typically bad

Obviously, you don’t want a boring name for your business, but you also don’t want to choose something that’s too “out there.” You want your employees to be able to say where they work without hesitation, and you want your name to resonate with your target audience.

Determining the best name for business is by lots of factors it must be a niche that that people must not find hard or to long to pronounce. Also naming products depends on the type of product you are going into, make the name something meaningful to customers and also research for names that are unique.

There are many businesses that I have seen that actually have very similar or even the same names. I have noticed this when I am looking for a store onlien to find that two stores may have the same name and therefore it is important to look at the area to find the right one. This can get quite confusing, and this is why it is very important to have a busienss name that is unique and only related to your business and its ventures.

It depends on the type of business you are going into, because there was some business that you can just get the name of the business depending on how and what you will do in the business, you just need to create a name that is easy for people to remember and a name that can be pronounced easily by people

Few suggestions on how to come up with a winning name for your business:
Avoid hard-to-spell names. Don't pick a name that could be limiting as your business grows. Conduct a thorough Internet search. Use a name that conveys some meaning. Conduct a trademark search.

Brand name is very important and it determines but not absolutely the success or failure of your business. There are different ways to come up with a brand name..... you could use your name, or you could coin out a name that’s is related to your business such that once people hear it they already know what the business is about.
In how to go about discovering the best name to give to your intended new business Enterprise, you must make sure that the name is not as a close match as possible to an already existing business brand. It must be unique
