Due to working online for most of my professional career, I never really was able to establish a start to a pension. Or I just never really thought about it. I was wondering how I get one started? I probably should have done this years ago, but I like to put things until the last minute.

Anyway, do you have any tips on where to start?

Savings? Or pension? A pension is something an employer gives you.

Assuming you are a civil servant it will be very easy for you to start saving up for your pension because it's the government that will be removing the pension fund out of your salary but as a business owner if you want to start your own personal pension you need to register with companies that collect money from you every month just like savings and they will tell how the process is done

Pension is mainly for workers that are employed, their employer pays part of the pension while a little amount is deducted from there salary to augment it. As a business person the only advice I have for you right now is that you should be saving up for future this will help when get old just like pension

The best way to go about starting pension,is to apply in an offline organization or company, and work with them for some while, during your working period with them, they will possibly bring the pension form to you to fill, so with that they will be saving some funds into your pension account till it reach the threshold where you will be able to withdraw it. So that's the best way and easy way you could go about getting your pension started I guess.

As you plan for retirement, you may want to figure out how to get a pension. There are essentially two ways to get one: Find an employer who offers a pension or figure out a way to create your own.

In my country for people who have independent jobs there are two ways to acquire the pension. In the bank there are some forms that must be filled out where they pay a monthly or annuity according to the applicant's convenience, upon completing the payments stipulated by the banks that are allied to the government, they begin to receive the benefit of the pension. The other way is with companies dedicated to this purpose.

It is very good that you have decided to want to start preparing for your retirement through enrolling for a pension scheme. The first thing is to decide on the amount which you will want to save every month. Then you should approach meeting a pension company to discuss their offers.

It is possible for you to start your pension fund anytime. All you have to do is to get a good company and started people pension fund. There are many company out there that would accept you

This is dependent on different organization, government employees make sure every of their member are entitled to pension,so it's not available for every body, you need to reach a certain level.

You can simply get a pension started by going to a pension fund office to make the proper registration and start the process. However you can do this if your organisation in agreement with pension scheme.

It is very possible for you to register a pension with any company. or you can also register your pension with your own company. pension certain amount deducted from your salary every month and it will be paid to you after retirement.

If your government has no pension plan for the workers then you probably need to find a company that offers a pension plan. You will be depositing a fixed amount every month that will serve as the premium for your pension plan. At a defined date you will be considered retired and you will receive your pension package. Usually it is the insurance companies that offer such plans.

Pension is done for you by your employer either government or in some cases, your private employer. I guess since you don't mention you are actively working for someone, maybe what you need is saving

It strongly depends on the laws in your country. In my current country, the best way for a citizen is to get a governmental job, as the ordinary 9 to 5 is turning more and more rare. In my case, to get started with a pension, it was one of the principal reasons I had to open my individual micro enterprise. Paying a small monthly amount to social security along 15 or 18 years ensures the individual micro entrepreneur a pension at the age of 62 (women) or 65 (men). Another way is to invest in a very long term federal treasury package, choosing the kind of this investment that protect money against inflation. There are pension plans too, offered by the banks, but I prefer the first 2 mentioned (pension by my own business and federal treasury).

Normally, a pension plan should be discussed upon commencement of a job especially in public companies but if it wasn't, you can always talk to your employer.

From what you wrote up there that I have read, you said you have been working all you live online for sometime without a pension plan to start. I thought pension was for people who are employed in the government or private sector as the car may be? You are not in any of the lists above, so you can't be taking of pension.

Firstly, if you're working with any governmental agencies, your pension scheme will be automatic because you will be taken through the process of registering for it immediately you resume work. Meanwhile, there are many pension brokers around who can help.

I get a pension started by simply going to a pension office to make the required registration after that I wait till retirement before I start receiving the pension.

you just have to register a pension fund with any pension company you can go to an insurance company or you can better still register with the company where you work
