It is dependent on the exchange you're using. The last update by Binance stated that withdrawals from crypto to local currency is still available while only deposit has been disabled. Their peer to péer trading of crypto which is the selling of crypto to buyers or buying from sellers with binance acting as the middle man

That is what I often read in group chats, that my Nigerian groupmates are having problems with how they can transact using crypto now that it is banned in their country. I feel sorry for them especially since they need to convert their crypto through their native currency because they will use it in their daily livelihood. I hope someone can answer this here so I can share with them and help them. Stay strong Nigerian friends🙏

I really hope the government reverse the ban, tho the last update from luno said we can still withdraw for now but the process would take alittle more time than usual, i have heard some people talking about paypal. I also heard someone say you can open a 1x bet account then fund the account with your bitcoin then you can withdraw it to your native bank from there. Tho i dont know how true and effective this process is tho

The ban placed on nigerians by the federal government is really not helping at this period. The thing with the government is that they never open there eyes to see the implications of what they are doing before doing it. Withdraw is still very much possible

My Luno wallet still withdraws Bitcoin since the passage of the law that banned cryptocurrencies usage in the Nigerian banks. The only service that is affected on my Luno is that I can't buy cryptocurrencies but when it comes to withdrawal, I can always withdraw.

It is insensitive on the path of the people in power and policy makers in Nigeria, however you can work with other currencies to get your money out or fund your account and then transfer to your local account. But I tell you it can't stand a test of time.

Some exchange platforms are still allowing the withdraw feature, platforms like binance, luno and roqqu. You can also sell to trusted and legit crypto exchangers. You can still withdraw, just that you'd go through more process and a longer time than usual.

The ban on cryptocurrency by the Nigerian government is a very huge blow to many of us. But I think we can still with draw our coins and tokens to binance peer-to-peer.
Initially, one can easily sell his cryptocurrency and withdraw the money directly tower local bank account.

At the moment, many of my Nigerian friends are having problems on how to convert and have a transaction using crypto. I feel that they need to cashout their money because they really need it so much. I hope someone can help this thread on how and what way they can withdraw their earnings that are still hidden in their crypto wallets.

We can withdraw our Bitcoin by any wallet by which we feel safe and withdraw our Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Some of country did not accept the cryptocurrency because it is illegal and banks to passed the law.online funds transfer is safe.

There is no definite answer at the moment as many crypto trading websites are doing all their best to find out better alternatives on how to make it easier for their Nigerian traders. Any one that has Bitcoin should hold to it as that will help the value not to drop.

Yes nice idea, but I think they will not be able to hold on for a long time because of their needs. They are pathetic because their funds are stuck in their crypto wallets.

There are many ways to withdraw your bitcoin depending on the app you are using. Withdrawal Methods: Coinbase lets you sell Bitcoins for cash, which you can then withdraw into your bank account. You can only cash out your Bitcoin into a bank account that you have already used to buy cryptocurrency on Coinbase.

Experts are still devising means to which crypto currencies can be withdraw into local bank account directly. Lesotho PayPal is another means but it is but technical because it demands technicalities which you need to be taught.

The ban placed on Nigeria Banks for processing crypto transactions by the government doesn't change anything, some wallet still process payment while you can use the p2p methods. Few crypto wallet allows p2p trading.
