You can withdraw your bitcoin through different exchange merchant online. A good recommended among them include Binance, Luno and Trust wallet. These merchants create an easy platform to perform every possible transaction I crypto currency.

Nigeria government is just something else, I have been trying to read on the justification for the ban, nothing meaningful yet, for now I think PayPal account can be used, or better still you use peer to peer

Having read and understood what the CBN meant by there latest directive. They are not totally buying the use of Cryptocurrencies or Bitcoin they just don't want you to use the naira to buy crytpocurrencies, you can still withdraw crytpocurrencies as money, but you can't buy crytpocurrencies with Naira.

Baesd on the law passed on all banks by Central Bank of Nigeria, how do think people will be able to withdraw or convert their crypto currencies
I am also interested in knowing how to collect local currency from my luno wallets. Have the CBN laws restricted the how we can get our money from these wallets? If it has , then it will be a disadvantage to us here in Nigeria.

They are few ways you can withdraw your bitcoins, few exchangers like binance provides peer to peer option which enables you to make withdrawal by selling of your bitcoin to an agent, who inturn pays you a stipulated amount.thats the surest way for now.

I have ask myself this same question and believe no matter any wallet you imputed on your account, once you are paid into the account, you can make use of exchange like binance or nigeriagoldexchange.com to get your money to your local bank.

Open your BTC wallet. Open your Bitcoin Wallet with your Bitcoin account. ...

Choose your desired refund amount. Check your bitcoin balance and decide how much you want to withdraw or cash out. ...

Select and confirm the transaction. Confirm your transaction with your wallet password.

I really hope the government reverse the ban, tho the last update from luno said we can still withdraw for now but the process would take alittle more time than usual, i have heard some people talking about paypal. I also heard someone say you can open a 1x bet account then fund the account with your bitcoin then you can withdraw it to your native bank from there. Tho i dont know how true and effective this process is tho
Wow! This sounds very interesting and helpful. Kindly help us to make enquires about it to know how far we can withdraw our bitcoin. I know there may be possiblity with 1x bet because it is not a Nigeri
Terrible that I am having difficulties to buy coin. The ban limits trade within. I don't know the reasons they saw before they made the ban move but it's sad to say that such move was grossly inconsiderate, an act to limit it's citizens. You can still withdraw to your bank

Nigeria government has created a big problem for the crytocurrency traders who wants to deposit and trade their money. However, luno still run withdrawals for Nigerian accounts for now but I don't know what might follow soon.

To withdraw bitcoin from your Cash App:

  1. Tap the Banking tab on your Cash App home screen
  2. Select Bitcoin
  3. Press Withdraw Bitcoin
  4. Scan a QR code address or press Use Wallet Address to enter one manually
  5. Confirm with your PIN or Touch ID
You must have a balance of at least 0.0001 bitcoin to make a withdrawal. You can withdraw up to $2,000 worth of bitcoin every 24 hours and up to $5,000 within any 7-day period. Transfers to external wallets usually take between 30–40 minutes but can take longer.

There are still websites that do p2p trading (peer2peer) where you transfer your bitcoin or whatever crypto you want to sell to the person who is more like a trader. On confirmation of your transfer, the person pays you or transfers the naira equivalent to your account. Although it is risky because if the person you are transferring to is a scammer, all your bitcoin or crypto is gone.
Some sites use escrow though.

That is what I often read in group chats, that my Nigerian groupmates are having problems with how they can transact using crypto now that it is banned in their country. I feel sorry for them especially since they need to convert their crypto through their native currency because they will use it in their daily livelihood. I hope someone can answer this here so I can share with them and help them. Stay strong Nigerian friends🙏

same here for bangladesh but i am not worried at all. Need to take risk because crypto is more important than government for sure. I think paxful will be fine for me. But I need to be very careful in time of cash out.

The ban came as a ride shock to me the day I heard about the ban. Cryptocurrency is here to stay, the Nigeria government can ban it but for how long? Ban or no ban I will continue to gather more cryptocurrency untill there are ways to withdraw it or hopefully lifting the ban by the government.

Yes nice idea, but I think they will not be able to hold on for a long time because of their needs. They are pathetic because their funds are stuck in their crypto wallets.

It's such a bad moment for many of us that uses Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies for our businesses. This was how PayPal issues began and right now, we don't even have a solution to it. I wish there will be a turnaround very soon on the situation.

My Luno wallet still withdraws Bitcoin since the passage of the law that banned cryptocurrencies usage in the Nigerian banks. The only service that is affected on my Luno is that I can't buy cryptocurrencies but when it comes to withdrawal, I can always withdraw.
Thats really great. Please can you put me through on how to make withdrawal from my Luno Account? Been trying to test run it ever since crypto currencies were banned but I haven't been able.

It is very easy, you can simply sell it to a third party bitcoin merchant and you get your cash sent to your bank instantly. I am a merchant in buying and selling bitcoin. Check my profile. You can contact me on WhatsApp +2348069104982. You have nothing to worry about.
now that CBN and Nigeria government have come up with this unfavourable, we must devise a meañs to continue earning and I want to believe that you are a legit vendor, how much is your dollar equivalent and how fast is your service?

The banning of transaction to cryptocorrency is not affecting the withdraw from a wallet to local bank, it's just affect the transaction from a bank to cryptocorrency. So, you are free to withdraw your Bitcoin but may not have privilege to buy Bitcoin from your bank.

The ban would really shake up how crypto activities are being done but firms are still waiting to receive more clearity from banks about the whole issue. Nonetheless you can withdraw to a bank in another country who will then send it to you through payoneer then you can he and withdraw or use binance peer to peer or use the betting firms that accept crypto

The ban placed on nigerians by the federal government is really not helping at this period. The thing with the government is that they never open there eyes to see the implications of what they are doing before doing it. Withdraw is still very much possible.

you need to be very careful here because that some people here that are looking for who to scam, if you are looking for the best where you can sell out your Bitcoin i think you should use p2p market binance and sell it to a trusted agent there and they will pay you in your local currency
