Have you managed to pay with fake money?

In my childhood, I often had such desires and I wanted to buy such fake funds, but I was so small that I did not understand that they were very different from real ones. The only thing I managed to do was to use a torn bill, but according to the law, it had to be accepted anyway

No, but I have a funny story. I was working at Taco Bell the other day and a 50-dollar bill was in the trash. I laughed and asked about it. They said it was fake.

Why would I even be in possession of a fake currency without knowing it? How would I even get to own a fake currency? I've never had a fake currency and even if I had a fake currency, I'm going to destroy it immediately because it's a crime to own one.

I wouldn't know what to look for. I mean, if you can't tell it's illegal, then would you be arrested for it? My guess would be that it would be impossible to prove you didn't know it was fake.
