Of course, it is possible to make money when you bet because that is the objective of betting - to win. However, winning depends on luck in gambling and most of the gamblers I know are not lucky which means they lose more than they win. That is one disadvantage of gambling.

I very much agree with you, the game should be to entertain! I think it is the right thing to do and I even believe that games were created from the beginning, for this purpose. As time went by they started with gambling.

I have not seen anyone making money through betting except the owner of the company however dating is just a form of entertainment to those who play.

Yes, although apart from businessmen, there may also be cases of those who play with conscience. They know how to take advantage of the moment to win and withdraw in order not to lose. But generally the profits go to the owner, as you have described.

You are right. It is not totally impossible to get out of addiction but such person will need a lot of rehabilitation work. Addiction is like a poison to the body system, it kills it victims slowly and very difficult to cure when it has caused serious damage to the vital organs in the body.

I love your way of showing how harmful an addiction is, but you are absolutely right! It's very hard to quit and although you may need therapy, people who make the decision have no turning back. When you don't take it seriously you will have relapse after relapse.
