There are a lot of cryptocurrencies out there, many of them turn out to be duds, but there are a few that have so far, stood the test of time. But, have you ever encountered anyone trying to push on fake crypto to you? Maybe it's a new crypto, and they're trying to get investors. I wonder how many lawsuits people get for trying to make fake crypto, or try to make their own without any knowledge.

I haven't yet come across any like that. But I have come across lots of fake airdrops and smart contracts. Sadly I have only lost money to smart contracts.

Oh yes I have encountered a lot of fake cryptocurrency projects of late a few months ago. They usually get my to start with a initial coin offering sales ICO for sometime and then close shop and steal away your real cryptocurrency you have used to pay for this ICO

Personally I have not encountered any fake coin or chest coins and I hope I don't get to encounter any one anytime soon. Though my sister has once come in contact with one, she brought it thinking it was a good one, that was how the coin dropped and refused to rise.

Yeah I could remember one cryptocurrency coin like that I was told to invest in it that very soon it will be on Binance platform and from there I would be able to convert it into another coin or better still bitcoin but at the end is all false coin.

Since I got to know about crypto currency I have encountered a lot of fake coins , most times they start out looking so legit until you fall for it and buy the coin only for you to discover you can't trade it or anything. it's just useless, most especially from Airdrops

I never encountered any fake cryptocurrency since I started trading cryptocurrency in the past one year. I use coinmarketcap to analyse the coins which are good for investment before going on to place trade on them at my Binance account.

If you did not participate in airdrops, how did you manage to get these tokens. On what wallet or exchange platform you are storing these tokens? I am quite interested in learning about fake tokens that re valued $50,000

I did not participated in the airdrops or did any task to receive the tokens. But on facebook groups, I have dropped my bsc address there. Maybe it is from there that I got the token

There was a cryptocurrency which I cannot remember the name that I bought and then after sometime the owners removed liquidity and made it worthless.

With coinmarketcap data for all coins, I don't make such kind of mistakes to choose a coin that isn't reputable. At Binance you'll simply see only trusted coins and not fake because Binance took their time to survey every coin before listing it.

Do you know how many fake cryptocurrencies are out there today and how many are being introduced into the market onna daily basis? A lot. We really need to be very careful when dealing with new cryptocurrencies

There are newer cryptocurrency that have what they now call the rug pull effect in your investment. That means, the moment you invest your money into them, you won't be able to transact it out anymore because there is no liquidity to enable you do that. Your money is trapped and you're tossed

I know that some people who love crypto has the tendency to be prodded in buying a new crypto coin. That's what they did when they had read about the tweet of Elon Musk (until now I don't know if that tweet is true). Some of the investors I know care to listen to rumors.

No I can say I've come across it transacted a fake currency, it's avoidable too though because prior to any transaction it's important to always make the proper research
