Like oil ,gas is also very important and valuable in all countries. We can see there are many gas plants in all cities,towns and even in villages . And we can see that there is alot of people on the plants who buy gas for their vehicles.

So do you think this business can give it's investor good profit?

Maybe what you mean by gas plant is what we call here as gas station where vehicles go for buying fuel for their gas tank. A close friend just quit his gas station business with big losses incurred. The rental of the place is 100k pesos (around $2k) per month. Add to that the overhead of salaries, water, electricity and communication utilities, the station should be selling a lot. But customers are few and far between. However, having a gas station where there is no competition would be ideal.

You got me lost at first calling I gas plant , Gas station business is lucrative but it depends on much rate of high turnover to realize big profits enough to cover up for overhead expenses. When siting this business, you have to site it a busy road where lots of vehicles plies alot, that also means high cost to lease or buy land.
Over all gas station business is lucrative if well sited on a very busy major road in the city.

Yes I believe the business is profitable. Quite a few gas plant are being established in my locale , safe to assume that people are making money from it. I don't know much about it so I can't offer any numbers as to what the business is worth or profit margins.

Just like how ou have mentioned, there would always be a high demand of gas due to to the ever increasing numbers of vehicles on our roads. Ensure the location of the plant is close to busy and residential areas. Although it requires a huge capital to start up and also, you need a large space of land, at least a plot of land.

So here in Nigeria, what we use gas for is cooking. And so far it has been the fastest method of cooking. I am surprised to know that there are cars that uses gas, and I pray that it gets to us soon. In general gas business is productive.
