So a friend of mine is trying to get me to use a game randomizer for some retro games and I have no clue where to even begin. I guess a game randomizer can alter retro games to where your powerups are different and I guess you can even push for an online mode where multiple people can play in the same game. It's wild to think, but I hear it's a chore to get working.
One of my friends is using a program called ArchipelagoMW, or just Archipelago.
You will of course need to do some modding and coding stuff I hear, so my friend will have to walk me through it.

You just need to find yourself the rom for the game, I can't say where to find those, but if you have a copy of the game already, it should be fine to find a rom online somewhere. Just do it on your own volition.
