These days there's plenty of competition to choose from, from the likes of Xenforo to Invision power services, to the lesser-than-good vBulletin. If you could code a forum software, would you throw your hat into the forum software business to compete with the big guys?

I am not sure if designing a forum software of your own which you are going to push into the market so that all the forum users are going to make use of it is something that is going to sell very well because there are so many other popular software companies online today that is going to be very difficult for you to challenge their authority in the market.

As far as I'm concerned, it's Xenforo WordPress, and Invision Community forum softwares that leads the race in paid forum software. These softwares are not used in social media set up like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok etc but only forums and blogs.
