Forum Posting! Good for Traffic or not?

Is forum posting helpful in terms of getting more traffic? What do you think?

Funny enough, it makes it easier to find sites that I want to potentially sign up and post on, by how much content relating to my searches is posted.

In a way, posting on forums can help bring traffic back to your site. Having a signature COULD get noticed but it takes a lot of noticing first before someone ventures to click through on that signature line. That's why you would need to keep posting for that visibility.

Forum posting is good for traffic.when people post in the forum this make someone learn more and improve in knowledge,and again paid. This make people to rush and post some interesting messages.

Yes, forum posting is helpful in terms of getting more traffic. Many people are active on forums these days. Forums creates awareness for users.

Of course, when people can air their views or give their opinion on matters on a forum, it makes it more of a community somewhat and once people feel part of a society or project, they'll keep coming back.

If would help to generate traffic considerably and if the post made by the members are SEO friendly, then you are definitely on the right track to generating significant traffic to your website.

I started my self hosted website in 2015 and I have been posting on forums since 2015. I have also been promoting my sites through forums since then but in my experience apart from a few visits, I have never received substantial amount of traffic from forums. I have not even received good traffic from the forums where I am very active.
