Ever taken a lie detector test?

Have you ever taken a lie detector test? If so, what was it for and why? Or was it just for fun between some friends? I've never taken a lie detector test and I def would never with friends, because hell no. They will ask every question in the book. I've always wondered what it would be like to take one. Would you ever take one?

No, I have never had to take a polygraph, which I think is the same as a lie detector, I think this tool is very effective for criminals when the police want them to confess, in my country, there is a TV show where they put the lie detector on celebrities also to gossip.

There is an emission in television where the invitee could assist for lie detector and then it is asked some shy questions to show if he is saying the truth or not.
