Ever partake in secret Santa gift giving?

Has anyone here ever partaken in a secret Santa gift giving? When I was in elementary school, this is what we would do during the holidays. We'd get a person we have to buy a gift for, and someone else has to get a gift for you. It's a fun way to gift giving. My family wants to do it this way this year and I think it will save a lot on gifts this year. And I don't mind only getting like one gift either.

At my first job, we held a party, but for me it was a bad idea because I was young and just started working, I didn't even know how people are organized, so when I was invited to participate, I simply refused, because I didn't understand what you could give as a gift to a person I don't know
