Do you wash the dishes immediately after eating or later when you want?

I had quarrels with my parents almost since childhood, because after I ate I didn't want to wash the dishes and wanted to go to rest right away, but my parents insisted otherwise. And I know that many people have such a thing that some want to wash immediately after eating, and some after resting. How do you feel about it?

Dishes doesn't have a specific time to wash them. Some prefer washing immediately after eating while some prefer washing it later in the day. As for me, I love to wash the dishes after eating immediately.
