I am curious as it seems so many people do these days and typically the ones who spend the most gambling are the ones who can't afford to be doing it.

I do not gamble at all. Gambling is not allowed in my religion. Apart from that, gambling is a total waste of time for me. There is a really high risk of losing money.

I understand this. I feel like in most cases, it is just foolish. Some people in the US call the lottery the "stupid people's tax" for a reason.

I think most things are fine in moderation but 90% of people who gamble get carried away.

Instead of investing money in lottery schemes, a person should rather save money and invest in some kind of business or volatile market like cryptocurrency market.

In what ever feild you are operated I think that gamble is never that too good because sometime I can remember when I use to do forex trading each time I gamble I normally have loss and in some of my business I do experience that each time I gamble I have to face some loss so I will never gamble for no reason.

If a person tends to invest in the Forex market without knowledge, then it could be stated that he is betting his money in the sense that he might be putting his money at risk, but this is certainly not equal to gambling in a casino.

I don't like to gamble all too much, it's more risk than it is rewarding. The chance of winning on most lottery tickets is very slim to minimal payouts. And gambling at casinos and other such places are a bit more risky.

Gambling imo isn't really all that its cracked up to be. Sure you might be the lucky one to win big, but it's very, very rare to win big on any lottery.

I don't gamble. I don't really see the point in gambling. I mean, I understand that you might be hoping to win money and you're willing to risk losing some of it in order to do so, but what if you win? What then? What's the point of winning? What do you actually get out of it?

I mean, there are people who go to casinos and win big jackpots, and then they go on vacation and buy themselves nice things with all that money. But why would anyone want to do that? I can't imagine any situation where winning a lot of money would make me happy for any longer than it took me to spend i, and once I've spent it on things like vacations and fancy dinners out with friends or family members, well... then what? You're back at square one: broke again!
