I have had bad experiences with both methods, with cryptotab, due to the low profits it offers, unless you use several devices or invest money to increase your hash rate your earnings will be low, and on the other hand honeygain I have used it a long time ago, but this platform altered my IP and I had to stop using it, and the profits were also low.

I have also tried crypto tab as well as honey gain. I wouldn't say I had a bad experience with these tools but I left them because of low earning.
