Choosing Marketing as a Career

Marketing is a lucrative career. As a marketing professional, you can choose the following careers:
Salesperson: Working as a salesman or a sales woman can not only earn you a salary but also sales commissions.
Digital Marketer: You can work as a digital marketer for individuals and businesses by promoting products and services on various online platforms.
Advertising Professional: Running ads on traditional platforms as well as online media is a complicated process and not everyone's cup of tea. You can work as an advertising specialist for businesses and individuals.
These are just a few examples, you can explore other options based on your skills, interests, and income goals.

I am not sure if I would ever choose marketing as a career. This is due to the fact that there are certain aspects of marketing that I do not like and pursuing the customer is one of them. I feel like I am trying to pursue the wrong kind of people and this is what I do not like.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be choosing marketing as a career because I have actually been in that job position before for a company where I worked three years ago. It was a very stressful job even though I was the head of marketing department, I still had so many challenges on the job. You're only getting paid based on your conversion and if you don't convert, there is no way you can be able to get paid a decent salary.
