Do you feel they are worth the time? How might they compare to ones that cost more? Do they have a portfolio even half as good as the expensive ones? For instance, how many sites can they claim they might significant progress for?

I have worked with individual SEO consultant, I have also used free services form various SEO companies but never purchased any services from SEO companies. Just because the prices are cheaper does not mean they are also selling cheap services. However, before you work with these companies,you need to see what they are offering.
