If you catch a co-worker of yours doing something against the jobs rules, do you ever report them? Of course within reason, if it's nothing major, I would probably let it pass, but if they happen to be stealing or anything like that, I will warn them first and let them know to return the money. If they don't I will likely report them. What would you do in a situation like this?

Yes, if I catch an employee breaking the rules, I would report it. It's important to maintain a fair and accountable work environment. Reporting helps address the issue and ensures everyone plays by the same rules, promoting a healthy workplace culture.

In an ethical workplace, addressing minor issues directly with the co-worker is ideal. For serious theft, a warning and opportunity to rectify may be given first. If unheeded, reporting to appropriate authorities may become necessary for maintaining integrity and fairness.
