Recently, I discovered a site called localbitcoins. This site provides platform for buyers and sellers of crypto currencies. The best thing about this site is you can find buyer and seller from your region and deal direcelty. has any body tried local bitcoins?

Its a legit crypto market place, where you'll need to use p2p transactions to buy and sell coins. I don't make use of it, because i can't receive funds into my country's bank account using that site. Binance p2p is the best for me at the moment.

I believe Paxful is better than Localbitcoins , I have found it hard to verify kyc there in localbitcoins. In paxful , the verification is very quick and offers many payment methods for buying or selling crypto.

Localbitcoin and paxful were popular means of buying and selling crypto then. However, they don't seem popular again with the coming of binance, Huobi and other cex exchanges. It's easier and safè.

It is a peer to peer exchanges that involves you and another members to exchange two different currencies with each other. Like USD to bitcoin with your preferred payment method. They have there own way of completing each transaction. So it is very secure

Yes localbitcoin and paxful has been around for a very long time. In fact it was the preferred means to buy Bitcoin then some years ago and they started this p2p stuff. Wonder why they've become unpopular now.

Am reading it for the first time and if the site is legit , I will still prefer to use peer to peer trading from Binance where there is maximum security for transaction .

Yes and their rate is not even close to market price. There are people still using them as you can exchange Bitcoin to perfect money,payza and others which is not obtainable in normal exchanges.

You are right. That is there only advantage that I see there. Apart from the price not good enough as the normal price at least it still makes it possible for someone that have fund on a payment processor and wants to exchange it to other payment processor or crypto and vise versa.
