If you are selling, you can get a better price (which is usually more than the price you can get on exchanges), however, the transaction can be risky if you're dealing with someone not form yoour region.

You are right. That is there only advantage that I see there. Apart from the price not good enough as the normal price at least it still makes it possible for someone that have fund on a payment processor and wants to exchange it to other payment processor or crypto and vise versa.
That's the major option why people still use it as you can change any digital money to crypto directly without long process. Aside that,it's more comfortable trading crypto on major exchanges.

Am reading it for the first time and if the site is legit , I will still prefer to use peer to peer trading from Binance where there is maximum security for transaction .
localbitcoins is a marketplace where you can meet buyers and sellers from various countries. However, the site recommends to deal only with the people from your local area.

Recently, I discovered a site called localbitcoins. This site provides platform for buyers and sellers of crypto currencies. The best thing about this site is you can find buyer and seller from your region and deal direcelty. has any body tried local bitcoins?
Like you mean from my region i can get to come in contact with whom i can buy and sell my currency with... How legit is this localbitcoin.

Even though i have not try to register with them and see how the platform work but i prefer to continue with the one i have now because I'm comfortable with it.

I have not yet discovered local Bitcoin. It's now from your post here in Bizdustry that I hear about local Bitcoin. I do my buying and selling of cryptocurrency through binance exchange platform.

I don't know if that site or platform has been cleaned up from the scams i here take place there. In time past I have heard so much of dubious activities of people using that site. I have never liked that platform

Localbitcoins seems to gradually fade as compared to a couple of years back. Then, I preferred paxful and never carried out any transactions on localbitcoins. Didn't even know the site still exists.

Buying and selling cryptos through localbitcoin depending an individual because for me I don't like selling it in such a way, because I haven't done that before.

Localbitcoin and paxful were popular means of buying and selling crypto then. However, they don't seem popular again with the coming of binance, Huobi and other cex exchanges. It's easier and safè.
Paxful is much better than Binance because verifying the account is hard in Binance , it requires complicated ID documents , whereas paxful just needs a government ID or drivers license.

I don't see why I should risk loosing my hard earned crypto currency to a platform that I do not even know where there is a withdrawal option on the exchanger wallet I make use of.

And I have been trying to verify my documents for a long time. I have used many documents to get it done, but it's not working. I will give it another try cos I need to use the peer to peer system of trading

Paxful is easier though to verify your account , just requires level 1 verification and instantly verified for me. Binance , I agree has hard verification procedure.

Easy verification doesn't means it's better. Binance verification is not hard because I've done mine. I did it with my government id. I think they also require facial verification.

I see , I have tried lot of times to verify in my Binance account but always failed due to some reason. They asked more than just the government ID to verify.

If you want to verify your binance account the easiest way is to use your bank verification number or use your plastic national ID card.

There are some people who are making lots of money trading cryptocurrency. one thing is that you must be able to make money both in the bullish and bearish period of the marketplace.

Your very sure right it possible for someone that have funds on a payment processor and wants to exchange it to other payments processor or crypto and vise versa

I think the fastest way to make money with cryptocurrency trading is to buy low and sell high. Then you can make use of local bitcoin wallet if these are pretty much easy to do on it.

I think people from Nigeria will find the news amuse. This is because the selling and buying of crypto has been regulated which may the citizens to have only option of peer to peer to get coins.
