Yobit is a Russian exchange platform that is quite popular and there are many people that make use of it as well. There are many coins that are listed there, and they often release their own coins as well. There are some that turn out to be successful and there are others that have seen little to no success in the market for trading.

There is one thing that I would like to draw your attention to and this is from a personal experience. Yobit only accepts transactions for Ethereum deposits that are done so without a contract. In my opinion it is hard to say which transactions are contracts and which aren't and when I made a transaction of just over 0.1 ETH into yobit, it was not credited as it was registered as a contract transaction. Therefore, it was credited to yobit, and they benefited from the transaction and not deposited to my exchange on the account.

Therefore, I implore you to be careful and make sure when you deposit ETH into the exchange. If you unsure my advice is to deposit in another currency and then from there you can exchange it to ETH.

I would like to get more clarity on this. Do you mean that àt the end you didn't get your funds in your wallet at all? How do you even know which ethereum transaction is a contract or which one is not a contract?

Concerning been careful when depositing ethereum into yobit exchanger. Well, thanks for sharing your experience with them but I we still need to know which ethereum is a transaction contract and which is not so we dont fall into the same trap. I have not had such an experience with my own cryptocurrency exchanger

Wow, what a despicable situation how would someone deposit ethereum into his wallet and one exchanger will divert it to the company's account as their profit in the name of contract transaction? That's too bad I must say. Thanks for this information though.

This is more verily interesting topic awareness about the investment, investing is such a valuable its involve a real money on it so there so many scammer or hacker into it this .1 eth transaction without a contract is like no legitimacy on their platform.

I have some experience with yobit in their earlier days when I traded cryptocurrencies. They have a good platform but their unnecessary strictness especially when they are at fault is worrisome. I lost some coin to them and forgot my trading password. They have prevented me from regaining my lost password. I got tired and moved on. aBe careful with them

If what you are saying is true, I think there is something fishy about yobit exchange. What is the difference between a contracted transaction and every other deposit? I don't really understand and so I think I will stop using that exchange for some time in case they have another agenda.

Thanks for the heads up. Ordinarily i don't think anything will ever make me want to conduct any transaction on that exchange. I strictly deal with well known and accredited exchanges like Binance and the likes.

I use luno app for my transactions, I once withdrew from my XRP account to my ethereum account and it took about 7 working days to reflect on my account, crypto these days is not reliable any more. Sometimes it could be frustrating.

The problem is that there are so many exchanges now and many are fake. They could just wake up and pack up and leave the market and people will lose money. Another could be the risk of them being hacked so one must be really careful.

Thank you for warning us through this post. I have no idea about yobit but it is a learning that in case I have a transaction here I already have knowledge on this platform and will be careful.

Oh my god, this is a timely information as I just registered on the yobit exchange platform and I was about to move some of my Ethereum coins into the exchange platform. Thanks for this information I will convert it to bitcoin before I send it over there.

To be honest I don't understand the difference and one would think that any deposit no matter the network will be able to be credited to your exchange account as long as it is legitimate and a successful transaction, however this is not the case unfortunately. It is best to go to reliable exchanges if you are looking for a better exchange. Although yobit hasn't given me any problems apart from this it does sound very fishy to only accept certain transactions.

Nice information you put up there, actually I am reading this for the first time since I have been trading Ethereum though I have never traded on yobit. Generally, we need to be more careful when trading on any exchange platforms their terms and conditions needs to be well digested before using it.

Thanks for enlightening us. Really sorry about your experience with Yobit and I pray no one gets to fall for their ploys again. There are alot of such platforms created to milk people of their hard earned money and majority of the victims keep mute about the incidence but yours isn't so and we're grateful you did speak up.

Something is fishy. I am surprised to hear that a Russian company would only accept ethereum and confirm transactions to their wallet without remmiting the funds to it's original destination which is your own wallet
