Be careful when depositing Ethereum to yobit Exchange

I have some experience with yobit in their earlier days when I traded cryptocurrencies. They have a good platform but their unnecessary strictness especially when they are at fault is worrisome. I lost some coin to them and forgot my trading password. They have prevented me from regaining my lost password. I got tired and moved on. aBe careful with them
I don't know why most of the exchangers are like that I also had a bad experience with hitbtc exchanger where I deposited dogecoin after making some trade and I decided to withdraw the coin, I couldn't withdraw the coin. Till now the coin is still there

Then which one is contract address. Is contract address not address that has its own token created on etherium network. If your etherium is not a contract address then why will they not credit you. That is why I don't waste my time and money on exchangers other than binance
How can you tell which is a contract address and which is not if i may ask? From what i have seen it seems that all of the ethereum addresses look the same and therefore i am unable to tell one from the other.

I am not really sure but if you visit coingecko website and you enter the etherium address to the address search box. In the result that it will return to you you will see there flagging the address contract address

The information you divulge is very important and it is highly appreciated. I do not use the exchange, I use binance and roqque . It is pertinent to note that most of the exchanges are are not secured. Before you make use of an exchange, it's good to always check the ratings.

The problem is that there are so many exchanges now and many are fake. They could just wake up and pack up and leave the market and people will lose money. Another could be the risk of them being hacked so one must be really careful.

Thank you for letting us know. Ordinarily, I don't believe anything will ever entice me to transact on that exchange. I only deal with reputable and accredited exchanges such as Binance and others.

Thank you for sharing the information , although I don't use yobit but I believe this will go a long way to help people that makes use of the platform. I use binance most of the time.

Most cryptocurrency exchange website are always strict in some areas. One of the awful experiences I have had is from bitmart. I deposited money without kyc and they refused me to withdraw.

There are so many schemes that are trying to explore and exploit people who are just coming into the cryptocurrency industry and things like this are expected to even continue.

A lot of people need to understand that there are also bad actors in the cryptocurrency industry as well as there are good ones. This is why you need to do your research no matter how obvious it looks like
