Any risk in starting up a business without proper training?

There is a lot of risk or you can say full of risk to start a business without proper knowledge or without good knowledge. First try to learn and get knowledge anout that business then try to start. Otherwise never know how difficult it would be.

It is not everyone that will past through training before going into a business and training before going into business, does not determine how successful you will be. For example did dangote went through training before taken on business. So, some will go through it while some will not.

There's a lot of risk in starting a training without proper training. You won't know the total risk involved in the business, you won't know how to calculate your risk, you won't know when to withdraw from the plan or still stay with the plan. It will just be costing you unnecessary debt which is bad for business.

Knowledge outweighs capital most times but we all know there is no business without capital which is a major factor of production. But the skills matters most. Because without the required skills or knowledge capital will certainly be wasted. And at the end the business will collapse completing. So that is the key concept knowledge is light and power.

Financial risk, of course, is the big one. Most businesses require investing some of your money – and often other people's. If you commit to working full time at your new gig, you're also risking your ability to pay the rent and put food on the table. Careful planning, building up a cash reserve and budgeting well can reduce the risk, but they can't eliminate it

Say you want to start a business: You’re not alone. Many people dream of being their own boss, calling the shots and becoming an entrepreneur. But there are no guarantees in business, and no matter how good your idea is or how hard you work at it, there’s still a chance you could fail.

of course there are a lot of risks involved in starting up a business you don't have proper training about the business also makes the risk greater forex investment for example should be done with proper training to avoid losing your money either to market or capital so watch out and be careful

Whatever you're selling – jewelry, software, consulting services – your business can't succeed unless someone's buying. Even if you conduct good research, it may turn out customers don't want your product as much as your business plan projected. Even if customers love your offerings, tastes may change or a new, stronger competitor can start slicing market share away

I think it's a big time fat risk . I mean how will u go into a business without proper training. Please tell me what you wanna do there. You have to know the good and bad of a business before going into it. You have to know strategies of booming fast in the business you are going to. How to get customers and all. Very important aspect is the training

Starting a business without a training is like driving a car without going to driving school. It can leads to loss in the business and resources wastage. It can lead to time wastage.

Well it depends on the nature of business you want to go into because there are some businesses that you can start with just feasibility studies in such business there might very minimal risk involved but if the business is technical the risk will definitely be very high.

Very unprofessional and risky, it means you'll be relying solely on your staff which is detrimental to your business.
I used to patronise a hair salon back in the days, later on it crumbled and I asked what happened turns out the owner knew nothing about it, one day her staff ganged up against her and all resigned. That was the end for her.
Chai, it's is quite painful, any business one does without experience is not in anyway advisable. Just imagine what happened to the hair dresser owner, assume she knew much about her business, she can easily take it up from the staff ND later employ new ones.

I think it's a big time risk, especially when you don't know much about the business you want to venture into. There are some businesses that seems so easy when looking at, they look exactly like what we can handle without under going proper training. What do you have to say about it? Is it wise enough to invest into a business you don't know much about?
Starting business without proper training will lead to failure. Before putting money into any business, you must possess the wherewithal to triumph in the business.you don't go into business with mere wish or rule of thumb.

Starting up a business without proper knowledge or information is highly risky because, when you start it up, without knowing how you will run that business, you will end up in lost.
There some businesses that one must engaged in training before they can do and their some with your own daily or common sense you can run it without any training.
So it is good and advisable when you get a proper information, knowledge or training about a business you want to start to avoid excess risk which can easily lead to frustration....

Well it depends on your ability to learn fast. If one is a fast learner and can learn on the job/business, then I see no reason a training is required . The most important thing is for you to know your ability. If you know in your heart of hearts tat it would be hard for you learn on the business, then a practical training is best required.

There are so many risks in starting a business without proper training. Before you start a business, you need to know everything about the business, not just knowing the basics, you need to understand the business from inside to outside

there are so many risks involved when going into a business without proper training, this is the mistake most people make by venturing into a business without much knowledge and understanding about it which may be as a result of the fact that someone close to them is already involved in the same business

Do not let you be distracted from living the dream by the future dangers. Do the best to predict the potential threats and provide contingency plans to deal with them in order to keep the dream alive. When a client takes too long to pay, ask yourself how you'll cope. When rates go up, can you find substitute suppliers? Have you obtained enough protection to cover you from any future disasters?

Starting any business is a risk, in a situation whereby you have little or no knowledge of the business is at high risk of running down at any point ..the best is to go for proper training in order to have zero or little loss

It is very risky to start a business without first considering the risks involved because the running of a business daily itself is associated with risks, so when those risky decisions come, how will you do?
Even proffesonsals faces risks. I think it's all about how we handle the risks that matters now. If we can be able to handle it well then that's how it's becomes our profession. And a man/woman who has zero knowledge of his or her proffesion will always fail in a time like this.
