My personal advise to beginners concerning airdrops is that, if you must do airdrops, be very careful as most of them are scams. And stay away from anyone that ask you to pay any money to claim your rewards. That is my take.

That second point is very important and cannot be overemphasized. I've heard stories of people who in a bid to claim airdropped tokens ended up losing all their assets earlier accrued or gotten. It's very key to have a separate wallet for this purpose.

Funny you should say that.
At the moment I am taking part in a Prom Network airdrop that is in fact going to allow monthly income.

It goes as follows: Prom is running a testnet and will be launching mainnet pretty soon. So they are running 2 simultaneous campaigns: one requires to perform testnet actions (so called Delegate Campaign) - where you deal with claiming faucet, spending test tokens, minting NFT and other transcations. Second campaign (so called Validator Campaign) requires to do Zealy tasks. Now everything I just described actually feels like the typical airdrop material, right? But what differs is the reward. All the tokens received as rewards will not be for external use -basically you can't sell or tansfer them. But you will be able to use them for community governance (hence the names of the campaigns - Delegate and Validator) and by doing so earn a portion of the network fees.

I have always wanted to receive monthly income from a role in a project. But being an ambassador requires a huge community, while holding a node requires a lot of money. This chance here feels unique and I am personally grabbing it. At the moment I'm ranking top5 and believe me its not that simple. But i feel a huge potential in this distribution method.
