Adding an arcade to your site that gives back to users

So I always like when sites have their own little arcade area, one where your users can play games, get high scores and get recognized by the community. But, what if instead of just that, when a user plays, they earn credit back that can be used on the site for prizes and gift cards or something. Would that go over well for a website? Would you like to see a reward like program created for something like that? I wish I had the coding knowledge to make it happen.

I have never owned a game niche community, however, I have used a lot of game niche communities. One on particular community, there was an arcade section where yo could play games, earn credits and use your credits to receive gift cards. The community had a moderate number of active users.
