Has a competitor or rival ever attempted to ddos your site? As in send too much traffic to your site where it results in your website going down for a while. It stands for Denial of service attack.

Has your site ever gone through a does attack? Did you get through it?

I frequently, use webmaster forums to get activities to my communities through posting packages. I once was DDoSed by a user who was angry with the website where I was promoting my communities. This person did not have anything against me but DDoSed all the websites they were being promoted through that site.

Yikes! I'm sorry to hear that. What ended up happening? Did the person continue to ddos your site? Or did he eventually give up?

The forum had to stop posting package for some time. When they restarted, they hid all the links on the package request. I had to use cloudflare service to address the issue.
