would you rather have $10 000 in Bitcoin or $10 000 in USD, that you can't sell for 5 years?

I would rather have $10k in USD rather than in Bitcoin. It's not that I don't trust cryptocurrency but I just want something stable. No one can predict what's going to happen in some, far away future.

So, it's better to go with something solid or something you believe in. Trading Bitcoin around where I live is hard but that's not the case with USD.
So, I will always go for USD rather than Bitcoin.

very respectable point, I would personally pick BTC but I definitely understand what you mean.

$10k guaranteed or a chance for less or more in BTC

I would choose to have bitcoin that I am holding in my wallet for five years. This is because its price keeps rising with time and I might earn good profit by that time. However, I fear that the price may fall then I loose and that makes me want to opt for the dollar. Anyway, it is worth taking a risk.

Basically a question if you think it will be more or less than .$10000 in 5 years.. ^^

Bitcoin or inflation?
Its a two way thing... Its either you become rich or remain where you are.
USD is Solid, Sure n visible, no particular risk of losing it in the next 5year but bitcoins future is not a sure thing.. Its a gamble. It goes up n down. But its worth the risk because 10,000 USD can be a million in 5years. I take the risk of 10000 bitcoin. Its either I win or I lose.

I will prefer Bitcoin because I believe that definitely within the next five years , I will be able to gain when the price of Bitcoin rises. Although I can use the USD form to invest but with what I am seeing with Bitcoin , I will definitely choose Bitcoin

Lol, I'll rather have 10,000 Dollars in Bitcoin, in the next 5 years, there's higher probability that it will have increase if not double the initial amount.

My opinion is not far from the opinion of the majority of the members , we all know the history of bitcoin value so obviously having the said amount in bitcoin is preferred by me.

Yeah. Bitcoin has gotten to an extent that it can't die easily unlike altcoins thus investing on it is safe

I will rather go for USD, because it's more stable than bitcoin. Bitcoin is just like risk. If possible, you earn great. It is unpredictable. Stable investment have hope

Either one of them will give you a good amount of money that will help you grow in many areas of life, I think it will actually depend on when this would come in my life. I believe that for long term btc is better and for short term cash is better.

the usd currency is stable, I don't think there will be big changes in these years. I would choose the option to invest 10k in BTC, I go at risk. In 5 years you can be a millionaire or you can lose all 10k.

Tremendous question, who won't love to have such cash for life. If I'm to choose any, I will prefer having it saved on my bitcoin wallet account to save up and bring high value in the future than just saving it in the bank when its yielding nothing tangible to take home about.
