It is quite possible for Facebook, twitter and other social media to come up with their own cryptocurrencies. However, the success of a cryptocurrency largely depends on how viable a business is

If Twitter and all other major social media platforms comes up with their own cryptocurrencies, that won't be a news anymore because it was bound to actually happen.

Currently i see no reason why they would do that tho, but the choice is completely up to them, if they decide to create their own crypto currency then they should
Which time the way cryptocurrency it's growing I think most multinational company we start having their own cryptocurrency coin.

Facebook already has a stable coin pegged with Euro. It is called Diem. If this coin succeed, I think a lot of social sites will be launching ther own digital ccurrencies

I think it would be good idea for other social media platform to go the same direction. As most of them will want to cash in on the trend of the moment in the financial sector revolution. It would ease the mode of payment to those platform.

It will be a good thing if twitter and other social media could starts their own cryptocurrency. I think Facebook had plans to do it in the past but I do not later know what kills his plans. I will love to see a situation where people will earn some coin by commenting and posting on Twitter and Facebook.

That would be a very good idea for the social media platforms because the cryptocurrency will gain a lot popularly and acceptance within the shortest possible time.

What happened to the planned crypto of Facebook and why it did not pursue the launching? I think Libra is the name of the crypto of Facebook. The news was more than a year already so I think Facebook has found something wrong with the crypto or maybe Facebook was warned by the government.

I hear that facebook's crypto currency will be launched this year. It went into a lot of problems even before it started. It even was rebranded to diem.

I'm not really interested if they are creating the cryptocurrency or not, the important thing is that the cryptocurrency they are bringing out must have a use case because that is the most important thing in cryptocurrency now.

I don't think this will be a nice idea for everyone and every renown company in the world start bringing out their own cryptocurrency, there is no need for them to littered the cryptosystem with cryptocurrency that would not have a reasonable future.

I don't think so. Some social media have no interest in any crypto currency exchange.they don't even use it as a payment method to users running advert. So I don't think so in any way

The owners of social media know their business very well and they probably know that crypto coin is just like a toy that is being traded just for fun. Now it makes me wonder why people would buy something that is imaginary and not tangible like gold or silver.

I just heard that Facebook has their own crypto coming out, but no word on when. It will be called Libra, and I read about it in another topic. Anyway, with Facebook having their own cryptocurrency coming, do you think services like Twitter and other social sites will start to implement their own currencies? If so, who do you think will find more success?
I know of Facebook having their own crypto which is called Libra, but the moment Facebook Libra become effective to their users others to will implement theirs also.

I don't really have much idea on cryptocurrencies so I can't tell for sure but I do know that is possible you cant tell if it's their decision to do that yet. I suggest we just wait and see what happens next.

Nothing is impossible in the world of internet. I have seen some football clubs setting up their own coin for their fans for buying tickets and doing some other transactions. If there is a need for it, they are going to create it.

I don't think that facebook is really serious about the new coin called Libra that they want to create. Because it is now more than 2 years now that they have been talking about the coin. But it is not yet out till now.
And talking about twitter. It is not a must for them to have there own coin because the founder is talking about crypto currency. It is not everybody big company online that will have there own coin.

I think that it is only a matter of time before we find out but there has been some talk in the past about Facebook trying to create their own cryptocurrency but I don't know how true it is.

I believe is Mark Zuckerberg is bent on actualizing the cryptocurrency on Facebook then all the social Media platform especially Twitter will jump on such innovation to stay relevant in the financial industry.

I am actually quite surprised by the fact that they have not started their own crypto token yet. However, as far as I know, they have a big share in the stock market and they are earning quite well from them. They might be launching their own coin. Only time will tell us.

We don't know the future of Facebook's deim. If deim succeeds, I believe a lot of social media companies will start creating their own crypto currency. It will make them easier to adopt payment system.
