Will Twitter and other social sites start their own Cryptocurrency?

In this case for social media or site to create their own crypto seriously I can say that greatly depends on their decision and their target on how to achieve it in the future but I will advise yo consider and continue with the existing crypto is better.

Well if Facebook indeed brings out its own coin, other social media platforms could follow suit too and that could not be case too we never can tell but its highly likely the other social platforms also follow in Facebook step because it's a nice initiative no doubt

It is possible for a social media company to own it own crypto currency, but I don't think Twitter will own a crypto currency. But they may start accept crypto payment as ads payment method but others like Facebook can own a crypto currency company

I just heard that Facebook has their own crypto coming out, but no word on when. It will be called Libra, and I read about it in another topic. I think that it is only a matter of time before they do that and they start to offer certain features in their services that you have to pay for and this will result in them developing their own unique crypto for such.

I do not see the proliferation of crypto currencies as a good idea. I strongly advise against that and doubt they would.

I don't think it is more profitable to start cryptocurrency. I also strongly disagree with this.

Twitter or any other company can start their own currencies if they have the ability to do so. I have read that paypal is also starting its own digital coin, so I believe any other giant company can do the same thing.

I think Twitter is already working on something like that. Not exactly a crypto but a sort of currency that allows you to tip someone whose tweets you find funny.

This may sound very funny as those social media outlet maynot have that at the back of their minds for now as they seem to be doing very well.But that is not to rule out the fact that there might still be a possibility of such happening as there are various types of coin been floating everyday.

It depends on the decision of each social media,they can actually decide to do that there is no problem as far as a cryptocurrency they want to produce will have something reasonable to offer they are likely to succeed but if they do not have anything to offer then no need

i don't think so, Facebook was probably the only one who had this idea on mind, considering that facebook owns atleast 3 popular platforms (instagram and whatsapp as well)

Its just a waste of time for all the social media to be creating their own crypto currency, like you said Facebook owns whatsapp and instagram but i dont think they need creating their own crypto currency.

Facebook has diem. If diem becomes successful, a lot of other social sites will try launching their own crypto currencies. Twitter is allowing the users to accept payment on its platform, perhaps they will be second to facebook for digital currency

I see Twitter or any other social network starting up their own cryptocurrency project in the nearest future because Facebook is in the process of starting up their own cryptocurrency which is not yet successful but it will definitely be successful later and other social network will follow suit.

facebook has launched a stable coin called diem. It started with much fanfare but later many companies back down from the project including paypal, visa, and stripe

To me I would have even suggested that these social media platforms back down on such project because it might end up being unsuccessful or abandoned. What I can only advice is if all of them can form a synergy to create a very strong one.
