Do you think one day, that Bitcoin could release another cryptocurrency? One that goes along with Bitcoin, but is its own thing. I figure it could happen, since just about everyone starts their own crypto these days. Could something like this ever happen? Or would Bitcoin be fine on its own?

The person who created Bitcoin has gone into hiding, so no one can create another Bitcoin, they can create new coin but not another bitcoin. However, sometimes Bitcoin forks and a new coin is created for instance, Litecoin is considered the first Bitcoin Fork, likewise Bitcoin Cash is another Bitcoin Fork

I'm not sure that it will be as popular as Biteoin, but I think this can be created only for hype and for someone who knows about it to buy earlier and then sell when the price is at its peak

There is no secondary Bitcoin, there are forks of Bitcoin, as is the case with Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Satoshi Vision and Bitcoin Gold, all those cryptocurrencies share part of the Bitcoin code since they come from the same chain or the genesis block.
