Will there ever be a cryptocurrency that surpasses Bitcoin?

Do you think that one day, there will be a new cryptocurrency that ends up taking over Bitcoin? Or surpasses it I should say. I think at some point we'll see a currency match Bitcoin or break above it. Do you think that day will come? Or are we dreaming?

Personally, I don't really think that we are going to see any cryptocurrency tomorrow that's going to get to the level of worth Bitcoin have today. Even if the coins are getting up, Bitcoin won't stay stagnant. Anything that happens with BTC affects all other coins.
