This is the case in my country as well, and people are not being vaccinated as fast as they had predicted in the beginning and it is very sad and annoying to see as well, considering the severity of this situation and how it needs to be addressed at the soonest for most of the economic activity to resume.
So you'll agree with me that things might not be pleasant if there comes to be another lockdown now that we're not even getting hold of the vaccination.

If there is another lockdown then it will severely affect the economy of any country that goes into it no matter the status currently. This will reduce a lot of the economic factors and also a lot of countries rely on tourism and this will reduce tourism considerably and also the potential in the future because it will provide the country with a negative outlook.

With the effect of the pandemic on the economy, the individual, and families, there are an army of people that are out of job and looking for ways to survive. This in turn can lead to the increase in scam activities in cryptocurrency and other aspects of economy, investments,so people must be careful not to fall victim to scammers.
You are right. We must be very careful that we will not be scammed by cryptocurrency scammers. Indeed I have seen in the internet there's a lot of scammers.

The pandemic was actually characterized by downward economic movement and as such many people lost money from their businesses so they will easily fall for cryptocurrency scams.

When people are in a lot of financial trouble they generally tend to be a lot more vulnerable and as a result they will look for sites that can allow them to make a good amount of money at a very fast pace.

Yes,the pandemic made many people go into crypto as a means to earn money. Those who weren't experienced or greedy fell into various scams because they needed the money.

Just like we saw last year that there's like a regular pattern of living which the pandemic changed and caused a lot of side effects so also if same is repeated then same result should be expected.

this is true. For example almost all businesses have tried to move from an offline to an online system and this can make it easier to scam them as well, because internet security is not something that everyone is aware off when they move online for the first time.

Hmm, this one is another topic for another day, lol. The rate at which newbies to online stuff are getting scammed is alarming, I think we need Cyber education security courses in school now.

I think that people will be a lot more adapted when it comes to the Future lockdown if it does have to happen and many businesses have already migrated to an online platform and as a result I don't think that it will be as bad as the first time the pandemic occurred in terms of the economic effect.

Sure we would adapt to anything that comes, that's human nature but it's good to be prepared and go into it head on so as not to live as slaves to a deadly virus.

It actually increases the level of crypto scam due to the fact that most workers have been relieved from their working place and they stumble upon the need on how the crypto becomes booming, bed on their ignorant they could result fall into the trap of scammers...
With the covid 19 pandemic there are many that are in lockdown and there are many more that do not have jobs as well. AS such there are people that are desperate for their earnings and in this way they are quite vulnerable. As with vulnerability there is always those that are willing to take advantage of people and this is where the scammers come in. I feel that during this time scammer may choose to take advantage of this vulnerability and as such there will be a rise in the crypto scams that we see online? Do you concur?

I implore all members to be careful on the online earning strategies and to do the necessary research before you invest in any online method. Also as a rule of thumb, if it sounds to good to be true, then it likely is. I wish you all the best and stay safe from online scammer. To beat them we need to stop falling victim to their scams.

Pandemic has increased unemployment and there are many people who are always looking to make quick money. This will definitely lead to creation of many scam platforms but I am sure scammers do not wait for pandemic. They just scam people whenever they get a chance.

When people are very desperate for money they generally tend to overlook the basic research that you have to do into any economic investment and as a result they become very trusting and people tend to take advantage of that and that is how you get scammers.

I was once in this particular shoe, that's why i don't blame most investors that fall into the trap of scammers because at the point of forceful resignation or sacking due to civid, most investors want to ensure they are bringing in money continuously so they fall for the trap...

I do agree with you and I have also fallen into a similar thing when it comes to cryptocurrency investment and as a result I am very careful now and I try to educate as much people as possible so that they do not have the same experience. My philosophy is that if it sounds too good to be true it generally is.

I think the pandemic has resulted into many crypto scam. On my email address yesterday I received a message I open the link sent to me on the message and it took me to a page that people will contribute bitcoin for me and I will withdraw it. But when I clicked on withdraw they were telling me that I will also contribute to another person. The way I see it. It is a scam

Yes, for sure the pandemic had brought about more crypto scams already and even some still ongoing and as you said , we just need to be very careful. Because of the pandemic, many lost jobs and are forced by situations to enter into crypto. On their journey many scammers in different forms scammed them even though some never gave up and ended in, many gave up and still don't believe much about crypto realities.
