Will E-sports become more popular than sports?

E-sports is becoming more popular with each passing day, and it made me wonder about sports in general. Do you think that Esports could become the one thing to destroy sports popularity? Or will sports be just fine and be able to survive alongside esports? I know more stations that revolve around sports are also showing esports. I never thought I'd see the day when ESPN aired E-sporting events.

I do not think esports will be more popular than sports but I do believe esports will be more popular than what it is today. eSports are being understood as real sports and the latest example comes from the Asian Game that will be held in September, in China. eSports is one of the 37 events being played in Asia Games.

I know for sure esports will never be more popular than sports. Let me call out the apex of real sports in football The World Cup, there's no reach eSports can have which will get to the level of World Cup.

There's a big potential in eSports which means that it can still get more popular. I'm looking forward to it.
