Is it ever going to get to a point where cryptocurrency will become the only currency available? Like, in order to pay your bills, you'll need to have some kind of cryptocurrency. Maybe bitcoin or some other big cryptocurrency. But, it will take a while for the US government and other governments/leaders to go that route. I don't think it'll happen anytime soon though.

What do you guys think?

It's not possible for crypto currency to be the only accepted currency. Some countries haven't even accepted crypto currencies. I believe fiat currencies will remain the only accepted currency in the world.

No I don't think crypto currency will be the only currency that is acceptable worldwide for marketing. Consider that it's not every body is digitally Wise

Even if cryptocurrency has to takeover the whole financial market it won't really be a nice thing because it's price is not always stable, people will always be very much interested to deal with stable cryptocurrency in terms of day-to-day transaction.

No cryptocurrency can ever replace the main global currency Such as: Dollar USA $ EUR € or Pound sterling £. and others. This is very unlikely and practically impossible.

I think the world governments want one currency that will function like crypto where they can watch it, track it, and even block access to it. For me, that is a very scary thing when you consider how much control they will have over people's lives.

Definitely not especially not with all this happenings in the crypto space. It has only served to prove that regulations are needed which wasn't the aim of the creators of these currencies.

And also there are some laws and characteristic that must be exhibited by any currency that seems to be a normal currency and from my research and observation , cryptocurrency do not fit into any of those categories.

I don't really think that's possible. There's no way that cryptocurrency will be the only currency in the whole wide world. Infact, I think we should be worried about whether or not cryptocurrency will still be in existence in the future.
There are so many world rules and regulation regarding using currency as a normal mode of payment. Crypto currency is too volatile to be used as a day to day means of carrying transaction.

So it seems and I hope I remains that way because there would be a very negative effect it would have in the world if it becomes the only recognized currency both online and offline.

There are still too many countries that have not accepted cryptocurrency at all and due to that, I don't feel that other countries will be able to accept only cryptocurrency for things such as bills or maybe even essentials like food and clothes. It would be nice to see cryptocurrency accepted more so but I don't see it happening any time soon though if at all.

Not at all, though no one can look into the feature but base on reality, crypto currency will not be the only currency to be used in the feature. Not everyone and country is digitalized

I think one day this will happen because Bitcoin and crypto are changing the world's economic order but not in few years, it may need some more time.

As much as I love this, I believe it will never happen because the government wouldn't let it happen. That would shift all the power to the people and can wreck the economy totally.

The governments hate the prospect cryptocurrencies comes with, and I think this would be quite impossible for cryptocurrencies to be the only digital currency.

I would hope that cryptocurrency would go mainstream to such an extent, but the reluctance of the authorities in various high places to truly accept it as a medium of exchange does not bode well.

it would take a lot of time before this would happen, for crypto currency to be the only currency in the whole world, i did not say it is not possible but it would take a lot of time befor this can actually come to pass.

Cryptocurrency is only good for investment and probably to carry out of quick transaction across international and location border. Cryptocurrency may not be suitable as a currency that should be used on daily basis both for buying and selling of goods.
