i think its mostly because crypto has a lot of sketchy stuff, so they cant guarantee the ads arent for scams

but i think its too much to ban all ads.. they should just verify they are not scams and only allow those
Maybe that is the case, too many sketchy different looking stuffs might make facebook to consider such scamming. Let Bitcoin owners identify the real Ads, so facebook unban them,so that, they gonna be included via facebook to display ads. Like the way other platforms place their ads on facebook.

It's kinda weird, but there is one possible reason, maybe because the ads that people are sharing could be related somehow to scamming, Mark himself has Bitcoin so i don't think that they are banning the ads for a purpose

Most world leaders don't support cryptocurrencies for the reasons best known to them. And Facebook is being regulated by the laws of these countries. In order not to go against the laws of these countries, mayb the reason why Facebook does not advertise crypto currency.

As we know facebook doesn't accept cryptocurrencies ads when other similar platforms like twitter accept those ads normally
do you know why facebook ban crypto ads even that facebook create LEBRA which is a cryptocurrency ?

Facebook support is actually trying as much as possible to protect its users from lots of scammers out whom are typically just looking for vulnerable people to take advantage of all in the name of investment in cryptocurrencies. Personally, I'm in support of what Facebook has done so far about all these fake cryptocurrency ads flooding the social media.

There have been so many crypto crypto scams on the internet, and fsvobook have gotten a large number of them on its platforms.
People tend to post too many adverts, thereby making it a form of spam.
Facebook allowed these adverts before, but they stopped over time

To be honest i have no idea about this. I have seen a few ads on crypto on Facebook recently, however this is very limited so it could be that Facebook is trying to limit the crypto exposure. Maybe this is for legal reasons, in which case the crypto is not deemed legal and therefore advertising it on their platform may incur legal questions or concerns? Or perhaps they want to draw more attention to their own coin and divert away from other crypto?

I never experienced such with facebook nor any other social media platforms. I post about crypto links steady yusing any of the social medias and alarm is not raised after successfully paying it. Crypto is legalized, facebook knows that, that's why they don't penalize users for posting it on their platform.

This is good to hear, because this is a great social media platform that you can use to get referrals on the various sites that you may use for your earnings and as a way that you are able to get news on crypto as well to stay up to date.

I heard about facebook banning crypto currency ads, however, I can see crypt ads on my facebook feeds. I believe facebook did not ban crypto ads in general, it only banned ads from the company that looked fraudulent.

You're right. Its a commendable indeed for promotion of Cryptocurrency. I used it to get referrals for my cointiply account to increase my earnings through the clicks carried out by the referrals.

The biggest reason that I see Facebook banning any cryptocurrency advertisement is because there are a lot of fake cryptocurrency project that are flying in on the world wide web and so Facebook do not want to take liability for introducing people to scam projects and also another reason is because Facebook has their own cryptocurrency in the works known as Libra. So they wouldn't want any other cryptocurrency project to steal it's shine.

Fake coins have been circulating around the internet. I believe that's the reason for the initial ban. I believe with time the ban will be lifted and you'll get to see crypto ads back there.

I think why Facebook ban cryptocurrency not to use their website is because there don't want to associate with them because a lot of people lost their money in crypto.

I don't think Facebook allows the posting of such links on their page because of the cases of the biggest scams associated with these links, people need to be careful.

Some of the crypto currency ads are major scams and that is enough reason why Facebook have to consider them and ban them. So users don't fall for the scam

Seriously, a lot of people would have been scammed today if not for the awareness being created online to inform people of such scams, so they be careful.

I had read in one news article that Facebook has plans of creating its own crypto currency and that is probably the reason why it is conservative with ads of other crypto currency. But as of the latest the Facebook's crypto has not been launched yet. Maybe they are still in the research phase or perhaps the crypto will be controlled by the government.

We really need to be very more careful and Facebook made the right decision to do that and that is the reason you dont see any crypto ads on Facebook , many now make use of adsnetwork
