I'm curious, have you ever seen a commercial or ad on television for any form of cryptocurrency? I want to say I may have witnessed an ad for Bitcoin, but I honestly don't know if that's true or if I saw an ad on a site somewhere. I don't think I've ever see an ad in recent memory though. I feel like a lot of stations don't promote crypto. Maybe it's because it's like promoting gambling maybe? Do you guys ever see ads on national tv for any form o cryptocurrency?

The national TV is ran by the government, the media is under the government's whims indirectly. If the government are not in support for cryptocurrency, there won't be any commercials for cryptocurrency on the national TV. It's private ran media that might run cryptocurrency ads on their station.

I believe that until cryptocurrency is fully supported and back by the government of each country, they will never allow advertising of cryptocurrency on their national television. They won't be against cryptocurrency and be willing to allow its advertisement to be on air.

Why spend money to advertise if they do not allow cryptocurrency as a payment option haha, I mean just think about that. I mean most people who watch TV dislike ads and most of the time it's rules in place that don't allow them to do it or meet the requirements, they just get rejected.

Yet I have seen ads from companies stating that they allow payment with cryptocurrency hahahaha

Private companies will always advertise their businesses with the payment option of cryptocurrency if it is what they are accepting among other means of payment that they have, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are promoting cryptocurrency generally. When it comes to an advert that government is sponsoring on their own, they are never going to add anything about cryptocurrency in it because they are not in support of it.

During the previous bull run I saw many ads on national TV about national exchanges, for example, about bit panda exchange, I think it stopped advertising and going out so much on TV when the controversies and disasters began in the crypto world, I also remember that Crypto.com was one of the main sponsors of the 2022 world cup, although it is not an announcement itself, but it was noticed.

The only thing these cryptocurrency exchange companies are doing is to find a way to bring attention to their businesses. Whether directly or indirectly by sponsoring a big events so that those who are interested in taking part in their project that they are advertising on TV will always find a way to contact their businesses. Crypto.com is still the main sponsor of UFC.

Cryptocurrencies are not regulated and this is why running the advertisement on television may not be relevant to the business because many businesses are not using cryptocurrencies. Even if they use cryptocurrencies, they may not be allowed to advertise it publicly due to legal reasons.
