There was a typographical error there. I meant ‘no more obsolete’ . For now I haven’t come across any popular websites that accepts cryptocurrency as a means of payment. Hopefully we’ll be able to use stable currency for payments soon
Alright. I also share the opinion that making payments in stable coins seems more reasonable because of the reduced fluctuations in price that those coins experience. Bitcoin on the other hand exhibits the opposite.

QR codes make it easy to pay from a bitcoin wallet app on your smartphone (including the Coinbase app for Android or iOS). Simply scan the QR code and it will pre-fill the recipient bitcoin address and the requested payment amount. Once you send the transaction, the payment is complete

Since Bitcoin is gaining more ground easily every passing day, many online platform are making use of it as their payment options. Bitcoin is acceptable world wide and there are so many sites that accept it as payment, although I might not be able to know all but if you search you will find out that there is, and it's one of the easiest ways to pay for goods online, it's secure and fast and very easy to use. Sites like shopify, rakuten also accepts Bitcoin payment too. But as time goes on there are more sites that will also accept this payment option so as to make it easy for people to use.

Bitcoin has taken over the cryptocurrency market. It’s the largest and most well-known digital currency today. Many large companies are accepting Bitcoin as a legitimate source of funds. One of the biggest online company that accepts bitcoin is Wikipedia.

Bitcoin is unregulated by governments and financial institutions. Transactions take place directly between the buyer and seller, so there are no middlemen to put holds on your funds and, more important, the fees (if any) for processing BTC payments are lower compared to those for credit cards. Accepting Bitcoin enables merchants to widen their customer base. A growing number of consumers are starting to use BTC to purchase goods and services, so you accepting the digital currency could be just the thing to set you apart and get them to choose you.

Except for Microsoft, I don't think any big ecimmerce sites accept bitcoin payment. I have seen some sellers accept bitcoins on ebay, alibaba, and alixpress. However, there are a lot of companies that provide bitcoin cards, you can use these cards just like normal credit or debit cards.
Wow this is my first time learning about this. I’ve heard people say you can purchase things on Microsoft with bitcoin but I still haven’t tried it out yet. Also bitcoin cards comes as a surprise to me. This is a great development. My question now is will these bitcoin cards be restricted to some locations?

Wow that’s amazing! I haven’t heard of overstock befjre anyways. Can you give an insight to the kinds of products and services they render? Moreover do they accept volatile coins? The reason I asked the last question is because I’ve seen many suggestions on this thread and most suggested that websites will only accepts stable coins

Overstock was one of the first big online retailers to start accepting Bitcoins as payment for their products way back in 2014. The online store allows its customers to pay for a plethora of products using Bitcoins, starting from electronics such as TV sets and laptops or computers to home-related products, such as pillows.

What’s most impressive about this retailer, in particular, is the fact that it comes with support for all the major cryptocurrencies out there, not just Bitcoin. These include Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, and Bitcoin Cash.

Some shopping site like dell, stripe and steam stopped accepting bitcoin due to low patronage. However, some sites like overstock, Newegg, shopify, Esty and Microsoft are some major website that still accept bitcoin.

Wow that’s amazing! I’ve tried to carry out a research on overstock and I noticed the site doesn’t accept it anymore. They’ve stopped accepting cryptocurrency since 4years ago. I believe only Microsoft now accepts cryptocurrency as a means of payment

There are a whole lots of companys now using Bitcoin as a form of payment on their market place. We all know how this price is going up and I think this is a good way to go because USD is very scare in most countries and it's forcing inflation on some countries. For example, namecheap is now using Bitcoin and it's good deal for domainer.

I haven't come across anyone in my country and I don't know if anyone exist around the world
Payment through Bitcoin is very risky because the value might decrease and you will definitely lose money and I don't think any online shopping cite would want to adopt such means of payment

Never heard of overstock. However, what I know is Visa has partnered with 35 different crypto wallets. These wallets will give you bitcoin powered visa cards, which you can use anywhere you want. I have used such bitcoin visa card in the past.
