According to information , they were trying to say that cryptocurrency are being used by fraudulent people to scam others , since in cryptocurrency every transaction occuring in the blockchain technology cannot be easily monitored . That is why they asked all financial institution to disassociate themselves from cryptocurrency.
That's very insightful, the Nigerian government is not helping the situation by banning it, most of the things nowadays are done online and people need have savings in cryptocurrencies.

What I'm believing is that the Nigerian government care less about the citizen. They don't even put the citizen as their top priority when making decisions like this. A lot of cryptocurrency traders and investors were seriously affected by this decision then and up till now

I believe they know what is good. They have been to the western countries and they have seen how organise those countries are but why can't they copy and practice what they are seeing there is what I still don't understand.

Yes they know what is good but it seems like they don't have any interest in making change, most of our Nigerian leader's are corrupt and that's why our country is not moving forward.

Well I don't have a single respect for them because they have fail in their responsibilities as a leader of a country. In any case we just believe that in the future things will be much more better and the country can develop to our dreamed standard.

I believe that the only thing that can bring about something like that is when we are going to have a change in government into something that actually believes and understand cryptocurrency

Yeah, we just hope for the best, but for now nothing serious can be done to solve the issues of corruption in Nigeria, the best thing to do is to keep on praying for the best.

I can imagine Nigeria is very strict about what currencies they allow in. Especially when the country is in a financial crisis, or so I would imagine with how things are over there right now. Maybe they fear what cryptocurrency brings to the table.

So you don't believe that the possibility of us having a well reformed society could be possible in the near future ? Most of these things will depend on the leaders we have on top , they are the ones that determine how the country is .

They will lift the ban only when they will consider benefits of cryptocurrencies. Nigeria is looking forward to promote it own Central bank digital token now. They are focusing more on that.

That's interesting, if not because of the bad leader's we are having, our country could have been more than that, just take a look at some countries they don't do things like our country does.

We will get good Leaders only if we ourselves become good and stop corruption. Leaders are also people and they are selected by the people from amongst the people.

That's true, but for our country Nigeria, this seems to be different, our leaders are responsible for all the corruption and lots of things that are happening in the country.

Corrupt leaders are also responsible for ruining our country as well. This is a pretty normal thing in here as well. I have also noticed that corrupt leaders also try to manipulate the election results in order to come in power.

This is something that I am expecting not to happen anytime soon because of the way and manner in which it was banned. I am sure that becoming administration are definitely going to lift it.

That's exactly my point, corrupt leaders are also responsible for ruining a country, that's what exactly is happening in our country Nigeria, 99% of our leaders are corrupt.

Leaders of developed countries are more dedicated to their country and this is why they help the country to develop. They make sure that the laws are implemented in the country.

Yeah true, leaders of developed countries do really help their country citizens and they also contribute to the growth of their country unlike undeveloped countries.

I think that the main issue is that the system of many developed countries was much better than many developing countries in the first place and this is why they have faced less issues when it comes to developing the country.
