Bitcoin were able to own ATMs simply because of their worldwide acceptance. Idea of crypto bank is far away because of the other loads of coins that are either less followed or with wide price swings. Imagine a scenario were a particular coin had a 100% surge overnight. The bank will struggle to cope with the overwhelming traffic.

Cryptobanks are expected to come into reality when cryptos are well accepted globally. Though crypto is still accepted in some quarters of the world, yet many developed countries still reject blockchain technology. It is my hope that soonest, cryptos would be accepted by those countries that are seeking to replace US dollars in international markets.

In reality, there are some platforms where you can keep your crypto assets and a typical example of such platform is NEXO. I have seen people save their crypto asset in this crypto bank.

I heard about this some time back, but i do not think its a machine that would actually bring out physical Bitcoin, probably one that you could use to do various transactions, then again before this would reach Africa countries, it would take years.

I heard a while back that Bitcoin has their own atms around the US and some other countries. And I also heard that some cryptocurrencies are trying to follow the same method. My question though, is when do you think we'll see banks for just cryptocurrency? Or banks that work in both USD and crypto?

I believe that it's still going to take a long while before that's going to happen when it comes to cryptocurrency banks being made available and operationally active. It's only in countries where cryptocurrency is fully supported by the government that's going to happen.

Cryptobanks, also known as blockchain-based banks or digital banks that primarily deal with cryptocurrencies, have already emerged in various forms. However, their widespread adoption and mainstream presence may still require further development and regulatory advancements.

It is still going to take a very long time before we actually have the projection that have been made over the past couple of years become a reality in the world today and so popular the way we expected to be. All we can do is hope for the best.

A lot of crypto exchanges are already working just like banks, they offer deposit and credit facilities. You can earn interest on your crypto deposit and also get loan by using your crypto assets as collateral. A lot of crypto companies have even started giving a debit card, physical as well as virtual cards that can be used just like normal cards. So, we already have crypto banks.
