What would you charge to shovel roofs?

Here where I live, we get a lot of snow from around Oct to sometimes as long as May. With that being said, there are a lot of houses in my area, some trailer homes that collect a lot of snow during the winter season. I am curious, if I offered a shoveling service, how much would you charge to shovel a roof? I imagine it depends on the roof size, length, the way it's shaped comes into whether or not you'd take a job like that.

I think $20 a roof is fair, but more would probably be better. What do you think?

I think $20 per roof is too small. Start it with $50 but make it negotiable. You might end up selling it at $35-$40.

I have no idea, in my city it does not snow and a job like this does not exist. However, I am aware of these kinds of jobs in the West where people get paid for shoveling roofs, driveways, gardens, etc. By the way how long does it take to shovel one roof? If it takes under an hour, I thing $20 is a reasonable amount.

I live in a city where snowfall is something we never experience at all. So, starting this kind of service is something that no one would ever do. In our city, the temperature is always quite high and hot days are the most common thing. We have never experienced snowfall.

The different seasons of the year isn't the same all over the world. If your country doesn't experience winter, there will be anything like snow in your place. The business proposition the OP is talking about can never be exploited there.
