What is the Fate of Bitcoin?

I've always marvelled at how prices of bitcoin increase and decrease without any parameter to use to understand this. Now, my concern is, what would be the fate of those buying bitcoin at a high price now provided the price goes down?

The exchange rate of 1 BTC in the year 2021 is anyone’s guess. It’s a pure product of supply-demand. But here is the problem with predictions: The overall supply is well known: There are 16.5 million BTC in circulation now and there will be 21 million in 2130. This is a mathematical certainty. There will never be more.
