It will be lost if no one has access to the wallet forever. Some people who plan for this usually give trusted people their seed phrases, while some people trust no one and will never let go of that information.

The best thing you could do so that your bitcoin is not lost in the event of death would be to leave your seed phrase to someone you trust, for example, your son, your mother, father, partner, etc., someone you fully trust.

If you don't give access to your wallet to another person, possibly your spouse or kids, before you die, your bitcoins or any other cryptocurrencies will be lost foreever. I don't want this to happen, thgerefore, I will allow my spouse and kids to access my wallet.

Whenever someone dies his Bitcoin will actually be lost especially if no one else has the password or key to it. This is even the more reason bitcoin will be more valuable in the near future.

before you die you should leave your private keys to someone you appreciate very much for example your son your close relatives a brother etc... you should not lose it just like that as long as you know that you are going to pass away soon, in any case someone very trustworthy I should have your seed phrase just in case, as long as you have someone very trustworthy..
