What happened to ICOs?

I haven't heard about ICOs for a long time and I don't know anything about them and if they continue to happen in the crypto market, I know that in 2017 and until 2021 they were very famous and there were many, but now, I don't hear about any, do you know anything about ICOs currently?

ICO is when a crypto project gets early backers before they are finally launched and are ready to get listed on exchange. Since a lot of scams happened with ICO, we don;t get to hear much about ICO these days

I recently heard that centralized cryptocurrency exchanges were launching ICOs, but I'm not hearing anything about that anymore, I guess regulations will have something to do here.
