I think the main part to be careful is the place where you set aside your digital money (crytpocurrencies) into which is your WALLET.

We have different types and forms of Cryptocurrency WALLET, which include: software, hardware, and paper, each with various security contemplations.

Choosing an exceptionally secured wallet is a significant mind boggling task. By considering few hack attacks against wallets and looking at the security plans of well known wallets in the market, for example, Trezor, KeepKey, Ledger Nano S and then some others...
I have recorded down a couple of properties which a profoundly secure Wallet ought to have:
  1. Layered Security and Defense in Depth
  2. Equipment Based Root of Trust
  3. Compartmentalization for Cryptocurrencies
  4. Exchange Display and Confirmation
Don't share your password or pin with anyone. Let it be known to yourself only. Also, don't just leave the applications hanging around on your phone, there is an option to hide applications. You can make use of it.

Security is important so as not to labour in vain. Haven said this, the security of this currencies has to do with the site creator and individuals. Some currency sites help provide some secret codes of which you are advised to keep secret. Individuals also make open sailent information that could expose them and thereby lose their currencies.

I think the best way to ensure the that your cryptocurrency wallet is secure is by ensuring that your private key is not available to any other person.
By using a two factor authentication in your wallets ,and avoiding sharing your wallet address online which can attract scammers to you when they observe that your wallet has large funds in it

SEC chairman Jay Clayton has clarified thatBitcoin is not a security. In an interview with CNBC in June, he stated: “Cryptocurrenciesare replacements for sovereign currencies… [they] replace the yen, the dollar, the euro withBitcoin. That type of currency is not asecurity.”

most times the insecurities are from us hence we need to secure our wallet, we need to mind the way we share our details even with friends and family because once ur access is know to an extra body, it is risky

I don't know why people still go for hardware wallet. I know it is secure but what if the system that has the hardware wallet got crashed and the backup file is lost. Then how will the owner of the wallet get back his bitcoin or coin? I prefer paper wallet to hardware wallet and online wallet

First of all you have to make the device you're using safe buy using password and and other security software in the phone
And ensure you use wallet from a very known source and also we should learn to spread our crypto currency in a different wallet, that's we should not store all our crytocurrency in one wallet.

The security checks need to be well authenticated, and another issue is to use a secure server,as a public server might put you at risk. You don't share you wallet login with someone else, even if you are new to the cryptoworld.

I think one of the ways to save your crypto currency is through the use of wallet and you could either choose to save it online wallet or in an offline wallet depending on your choice

Make sure the password on your device and wallet are strong ones not known to others, also make sure your seed words given to you by the wallet are kept in a place others do not have access to.

In order to safely use and secure your cryptocurrency assets in your wallets, never at anytime share your wallet seed phrases with anybody whatsoever for any reason.

Never log into your wallet the device other than the device that you regularly use. If you log into your wallet through various devices, your account will be locked.

Well since they would be in an electronic wallet it would be up to the individual to do more in terms of security like enabling the two steo verification and other security protocols available on the platform

The best ways to secure our cryptocurrency is by first securing our phones. We should make sure that not every jack and harry has access to our phones. We should also make sure that the private keys of our wallet is well written down in a safe place and our wallet apps on password lock always.

I think you just need to run a background check on the broker you are about to use. Some brokers have lots of recommendation but they are still fake.
