I think one of the best ways is to try to analyze the institutional purchases of these commodities, for example a few months ago the central banks and many countries were loading up on gold, so we can intuit that in the future there will be some shortage of gold and the price will tend to increase, the same can happen with other commodities, If we only do technical analysis we will not be able to know what can happen in the long term.

For the commodities that I have invested in currently, supply and demand dynamics, economic indicators, and market sentiments are more than enough to influence their worth. It's like what's happening right with inflation as an economic crisis, commodities prices have been hiked but that doesn't mean the value appreciated.
